If it’s not tied down, you must not like it very much
Here’s my Dell 2408WFP monitor (price I paid a little over a year ago: ~$500) after a somewhat sharper than expected turn on my way from Palo Alto to Redwood City a few days ago:
I have now learned my lesson. If it can possibly fall, it will, and it will fall in the most damaging way possible. One less thing to carry around, I guess.

Hi son,
I bought my Hanns-G 19″ flat panel monitor at Office Max about 3 years back. It has good specs., cost about $200.00 and I’ve been pleased with it. If you don’t want a name brand, you can find a good monitor for about $170.00, when Office Max has a sale and they have a sale about once a week.
Love,
Dad

Never could calibrate my Dell 2408WFP, the reds were fluorescent.
